We make it possible for you to open a letter of credit even if you don't currently have a bank line for the Letters of Credit that allows you to do so, or if you're up to your credit limit with your bank.

Such instruments are also called conditional letters of credit, accommodation letters of credit, or special clause letters of credit. Conditional letters of credit are designed to allow issuance without provision of specific collateral, apart from payment for the LC opening charges.

Mercantile Credit Inc., letters of Credit have excellent acceptances from suppliers in China, Bangladesh, India, and other parts of the world. At

MCI, we open LCS for the items ranging from commodity goods to apparel and textiles, and electronic components to consumer appliances and specialty products even for country-to-country shipment such as from China to UK, Bangladesh to Germany etc.

We have available bank accounts and credit lines at prime banking institutions, which are primarily used for the LC issuance. When we receive that payment, we release in your favor the documents which control your shipment.

When you, the client, wish to open a letter of credit, we review the details of your transaction so that we can decide about the transaction on its merit. We can open letters of credit for any goods that do not violate our ethical and legal criteria. Prohibited transactions would include those involving principals in countries which are on international restriction lists.
